NYC was was abuzz all week with events for Fashion Week and VMA week… and I was happy to be part of the festivities!

One of the best events was Fashion’s Night Out. People filled the streets– shopping, browsing, mingling, star-gazing, and enjoying a glass or two (or more) of champagne.

Primely located on the corner of Mercer and Grand Streets, the Vivienne Tam store was filled with people checking out the latest collection and entering to win one of their coveted HP Digital Clutches.

Real Housewives of NYC star Kelly Killoren Bensimon was on hand for the festivities as music was handled by me, of course, as the fashionistas danced until the end.

I also took part in a great pre-VMA event at M2… it was also the Hennessy-sponsored BMI after-party, and was amazing. Among the celebrities enjoying their evening were Rihanna, Keri Hilson, Mario, Katy Perry and more. In fact… MTV covered it.

Said MTV:

“When it came to the celebrities at the event, some mingled and some just danced in their own VIP section. Rihanna wore black shades and a black hood and seemed to really be enjoying the reggae. Meanwhile, you could see Keri Hilson walking around in the upstairs VIP, while Katy Perry made her way through the crowded dance floor downstairs.”
