The picture above kinda says it all… but over 80,000 showed up to witness RedBull Soundclash in downtown Miami featuring Ludacris, Mike Posner and myself.
Hands down, it was one of the best events in recent memory.
The concept of RedBull Soundclash is pretty cool. Â Two artists/bands… two stages… with me in the middle. Â The bands cover each others songs and essentially remix their songs live, based on the song and musical genre that I play. Pretty sick… basically taking the concept of a “mash-up” to a whole new level.
I’ve been blessed to do some big venues… but the sheer energy of 80,000 people screaming when the clock hit midnight was insanity.
And for those who want to know, the song I played when the ball dropped was Rihanna’s “We Found Love.”
Thanks for everyone who came out to celebrate with us, and congrats to RedBull for another successful event.
The next few weeks find me in Los Angeles, Portland, Shanghai, New Orleans, Park City for Sundance, Aspen for X-Games, Indianapolis for Super Bowl and much more.
