The Nightlife Industry has only recently started to utilize social media tools. Many currently use it to broadcast events, parties, and causes; however few are harnessing social media’s ability to engage their audience.  These digital tools lift the veil from nightlife, increase transparency, and disrupt the role of exclusivity.

Will exclusivity be replaced by experience? Will we become content producers – live-streaming our events and big-name DJ sets? How will we adapt to this new environment?

During last week’s Social Media Week, SoundCTRL & Vikas Sapra put together an informative panel at Dominion Theatre featuring Michael Gogel (Nightlife Week), Steve Lewis (BlackBook Magazine),  Steven Rojas (GrandLife Hotels) and myself as guest panelists.

Very cool stuff… and an honored to be asked to be part of it.  Read more here.

Everyone was describing President Obama’s cool Spotify playlist as a mix.  Well, it wasn’t.  But it is now. :)

Obama’s favorite songs… including music from U2, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Florence & The Machine, No Doubt, Bruce Springsteen, Raphael Saadiq and more… now mixed together Mick Boogie & Terry Urban style.

Hopefully one day this will make it onto The Presidential iPod.  Listen to it here as one long continuous deejay mix.

Make sure you go to Spotify and hear the individual songs.

Gen Art is thrilled to announce the designer line-up for its annual New Garde Fashion Show as well as a new partnership with Crest 3D White. The event will be held on Thursday, February 9th.

Cocktails will begin at 5pm followed by a runway show at 6pm hosted by Emmanuelle Chriqui featuring the A/W12 collections from the most promising emerging designers including Gemma Kahng, Samantha Pleet and William Okpo. DJ Harley Viera-Newton will set the soundtrack of the evening followed by an after-show set by Mick Boogie.

Shortly after the charity introductions, IMG’s top models will walk the runway presenting exclusive t-shirts and jeans designed by William Okpo to benefit “RAISE Hope For Congo.”

The apparel will be available for purchase alongside William Okpo’s AW12 collection at select retail stores as well as WilliamOkpo.com & GenArt.com with all proceeds going to the RAISE Hope for Congo campaign under the Enough Project at EnoughProject.org.

Crest 3D White is also thrilled to announce they will be live-streaming the fashion show and “white carpet” arrivals to their Facebook page.

It’s fashion week here in NYC and I’m excited to once again team up with my good friends at StyleCaster.com to bring you this musical treat:  Sounds From The Front Row 5.

The first four volumes in the series have solicited rave reviews… and I think this one is the best yet!

The mix features artists like Little Dragon, The Knocks, Flight Facilities and Silver Medallion, as well as the debut remix from my new production ensemble, the Brooklyn Penguins.

To get the beats of Fashion Week for youself, download StyleCaster and myself’s ambitious mix of indie, hip hop, soul and more here on my music page or visit Stylecaster!

Back from Indiana… Superbowl was insane.  Insane insane insane.  Look for a recap on that soon.

Meanwhile… two exciting new press pieces I’d like to share with you.

Bloomberg Businessweek did a cool little piece featuring me and one of my biggest Superbowl events… Madden Bowl.  As someone who considers himself a businessman and entrepreneur first (and a deejay second), it’s honestly a thrill seeing my name in Businessweek.

AM/NY also did a great 5 question interview with me this week in time for Fashion Week.  As someone who spends entirely too much time online, you kind of forget how many people actually read newspapers.  Until you’re in one.

Shout out to Brandsway Creative, my amazing PR company.

Read the articles here.

This weekend, it’s the unofficial American holiday… Superbowl XLVI.  I’ll be in Indianapolis performing at a whole plethora of different events.  If you’re there, please join me.

Thursday, I’m thrilled to provide the music at one of the coolest, and most musical, events of the weekend: Madden Bowl!  This event, put together by the good people at EA Sports, features live performances from The Roots, Nas and some very special guests.

And if you missed it, I put together a mix for those who can’t make it of Nas and Roots rarities and remixes.  It’s called illadelph/matic and you’ll love it. Download it here.

Friday, I’ll be linking up with the NFLPA and deejaying the official NFL Players Association party.  This is essentially the who’s who VIP event of the weekend. Plus, this year’s event features a special performance by J. Cole.

And Sunday, I’ll be rocking at the Hennessy Superbowl Afterparty alongside my good friend D-Nice.

Four nights of fun and mayhem… I hope you can join me!

Okayplayer and myself are very proud to present illadelph/matic, a unique mix of rarities and remixes featuring Nas and The Roots.

I put the mix together for Madden Bowl 2012–part of this year’s Superbowl events–which takes place Thursday in Indianapolis.  Madden Bowl 2012 features live performances from Nas and The (Legendary) Roots Crew… and me.

Both artists have so many unheard gems and remixes… I thought it would be cool to put together a mix highlighting their amazing, extensive catalog.

Shout out to Kiley at EA Sports and Dan/Ian at Okayplayer.

Download it here from Mixstream.

And watch the teaser video here on Vimeo.

Last weekend, I flew to Aspen, CO to witness the X-Games, attend some meetings, drink some Red Bull, snowmobile some mountains, deejay some parties, and most importantly, have some fun.

The trip was spectacular. From living in a mountain-side mansion all weekend to taking a helicopter to the top of the Rockies… the trip was filled with nothing but surprises and amazement.

The view over the mountains was insane… when I find some time, I’ll try to post the video.

We ended the weekend with a VIP party at Escobar in downtown Aspen.  Spinning alongside all my dj friends is always exciting… and Reggie Bush even made his debut behind the turntables as well.   Still looking for pictures on Twitter from that one.

All is all, my first X-Games experience was amazing… and I’m looking forward to the next one.

This weekend is the Sundance Film Festival, once again.  It’s crazy how quick a year goes by!

I’m excited to head back to Park City to partake in the parties, the movies and hopefully, the snow.

I’ll be deejaying a few celebrity gifting suites during the weekend including the Brandsway/TR Suites and the BMF/Miami Oasis Suites.  These are always fun because you never know who will show up… especially at an event like Sundance.

I’m also excited to deejay one of the premier events of the weekend… the Friday Night party at Bing Bar.

Bing Bar is, by all means, the coolest venue every Sundance… and I’m looking forward to continuing the Mick Boogie + Bing relationship.  If you missed the national commercial we did for Bing last year, click here.

Also… due to the success of last year’s edition, my new sunDANCE 2012 project is available now by clicking here.  And this year… for added fun… I added Terry Urban to the mix.  We wanted to give you a taste of what we play at Sundance parties so you, too, can be there.

Enjoy the music and have a great weekend.  Hope to see you in Park City.

Dragon, the totem worshiped in China for its command of natural forces, the claimed forefather of Chinese people, will have its likeness in a new limited edition Nike collection.

By launching the specially designed shoes to celebrate the coming Year of the Dragon, Nike reveals a new dimension of creative expression.  In what has become an annual tradition, Nike draws inspiration from the Chinese zodiac for the 11th year in a row.

I’m honored to have been asked to deejay the launch of this exclusive event on Friday, January 13.  I’ll be heading to Shanghai in a few days and can’t wait!  Look for pics on my Tumblr page soon!

Read more about the collection here and here.

And a special shout out to Rocky and @igetbuckets.

The picture above kinda says it all… but over 80,000 showed up to witness RedBull Soundclash in downtown Miami featuring Ludacris, Mike Posner and myself.

Hands down, it was one of the best events in recent memory.

The concept of RedBull Soundclash is pretty cool.  Two artists/bands… two stages… with me in the middle.  The bands cover each others songs and essentially remix their songs live, based on the song and musical genre that I play. Pretty sick… basically taking the concept of a “mash-up” to a whole new level.

I’ve been blessed to do some big venues… but the sheer energy of 80,000 people screaming when the clock hit midnight was insanity.

And for those who want to know, the song I played when the ball dropped was Rihanna’s “We Found Love.”

Thanks for everyone who came out to celebrate with us, and congrats to RedBull for another successful event.

The next few weeks find me in Los Angeles, Portland, Shanghai, New Orleans, Park City for Sundance, Aspen for X-Games, Indianapolis for Super Bowl and much more.

I appreciate all of you who take the time to visit this site… and I hope to see you in 2012! Happy New Year!

Well, it’s been a very exciting and eventful year.  2011 was the biggest and most blessed year in my career thus far.  I’m very grateful and thankful to every one of you who have supported me thus far… and stay tuned as the best as yet to come.

Even though the holiday season is now upon us… the grind doesn’t stop.  On Thursday December 22, I’ll be heading to Paris to deejay at one of the best clubs in Europe… Le Baron.  I haven’t been to Paris in a while… so I’m definitely looking forward to it!

After that, I’ll be doing New Year’s Eve in Miami as part of my brand partnership with Red Bull.  We will be staging a special holiday edition of their famous Soundclash event… featuring Ludacris, Mike Posner and myself.

If you’re anywhere near Florida on New Years Eve… you do not want to miss this.  Click here to visit the official Soundclash page.

Have a safe, happy and blessed holiday season… see you in 2012!

Back from a fun weekend in Miami… Art Basel Weekend.  Pretty incredible stuff if you’re a fan of amazing artists, new visual mediums, and of course, parties.  Plus, an amazing networking experience.

On Thursday, I had the privilege of deejaying the SCOPE Opening Party at Set and it was packed!  Celebs and models galore… shout out to Bryan Greenberg and Byrdie Bell, among others. Read what the NY Daily News had to say about it by clicking here.  Shout out to Brandsway Creative for an amazing event!

On Friday, I deejayed and hosted an Art Basel event for Miami’s Independent Thinkers entitled “A Blank Canvas.”  The concept was great…  3 amazing artists each created a new work of art in front of the crowd, while I entertained/inspired everyone musically.  A truly fun event… powered by RedBull… and I was happy to be part of it!  Read more here at Metromix.

I’m thrilled to take part in a cool event sponsored by Grey Goose this Wednesday in Chicago.  The Watch The Throne afterparty… entitled After The Throne… starring Pusha T, Million Dollar Mano (Kanye’s deejay), Timbuk2 and myself.  Lots of good talent and deejays on this line-up… and if you’re in Chicago this week, you don’t want to miss it.  The event is located at The Mid.

Read more about it here.  Shout out to my man Curtis House for putting the thing together… and to my homie Rocky Xu for the picture you see above.

I recently just filmed a video campaign for the good people at Complex Magazine, HTC, and Beats Audio for the new HTC Rezound phone.  It’s an interesting short look into my life, my home, my neighborhood and how I use technology to enhance my career.

In addition to a heavy online video component, there will also be a print companion to this in the new Complex Magazine on newstands now… (with the awesome Drake cover).

You can watch it here.

This week, I was given a pretty cool honor… The Grey Goose Rising Icons award. As someone who started small in the Midwest, moved to NYC a few years ago to pursue my dream, and now barely even sleeps… I sincerely appreciate the consideration and appreciation.  Kudos to Brandsway Creative and Bunker Club for putting on a tremendous event… and again, thank you to Grey Goose for recognizing the hard work I’ve been putting in.

Speaking of Grey Goose… I’ll be in Chicago on Wednesday Nov 30 performing at their official afterparty for the “Watch The Throne” tour.  Stay tuned.

Last month, I deejayed one of the release parties for Need For Speed: The Run.  Truthfully, the game is amazing.  It feels like you’re really on the road driving your own car from Cali to New York.  I checked out the website and they had some awesome trailers that really had me psyched to play the game.  They used a lot of cool tracks in some of their trailers… from bands that I love like The Black Keys.   As I was flying back from San Francisco to NYC over the weekend, I realized I was making the same path the characters in the game must complete.

So I made this mix to coincide with the game, the music, and the cities it takes you through, inspired by the journey.  Among the regions represented are Philadelphia (The Roots), Ohio (The Black Keys), and Chicago (Common). It’s a true racing soundtrack… hence the title The Race.   Play it while driving.  Play it while running.  Mute your tv and play it while gaming.  The important thing is… just play it.

Download here from Mixstream.

And pre-order NFS: The Run here.

I recently deejayed at Wall in Miami.  First time there… and it won’t be the last, I’m sure.  The room is visually amazing… truly a specticle for both the eyes and ears.

Renowned photo blog World Red Eye was on the scene and took some amazing pics of the evening.

Click here to check them out.

On Monday, I deejayed one of the most elaborate Halloween parties I’ve ever seen… hosted by supermodel Anja Rubik and Kanye West. They transformed NYC hotspot The Darby into a “Gypsy Wonderland” complete with live bands, dancers, fortune tellers and more. One of the more unique sets I’ve ever played actually… dropping in Eastern European music between Watch The Throne tracks… but it was definitely awesome.

Attendees included Beyonce, Ryan Phillippe, Naomi Campbell and Michelle Trachtenberg as well as models Lisalla Montenegro and Jessica White. You can check out the flier for the event at Anja’s site. Shout out to my good friend DJ Sal Morale as well.

If you want to read more and see some pics, check out the coverage of the event from E! Online and People.

Shout out to one of my favorite artists… the uber-talented Drake for naming a Mick Boogie mixtape as one of his top 5 albums of all time. That’s crazy and a huge honor.   Shout out to Little Brother as well!

Read it here at Vibe.

Last week, I deejayed the type of event that symbolizes why NYC is the best city in the world: Esquire Magazine’s release party for their annual Big Black Book style guide.  The event took place at the exclusive Darby Downstairs and was incredible.

Among the stars in attendance were Boardwalk Empire’s Michael Pitt and rock legend Marky Ramone.   Musically, I had a lot of fun.  Any party where I can play The Ramones, Jay-Z and James Brown in the same set is a great party to me… lol.

For more info on the party… check out what Celebuzz had to say by clicking here.   Congrats to Esquire Magazine and Scott Lehmann for a job well done!

I’ll be out West all weekend doing a series of events and clubs…

Thursday Oct 27… I’ll be doing an instore at the Adidas Originals downtown location celebrating the release of EA Games’ new top seller… Need For Speed: The Run.  The game is awesome… so if you’re in the Bay, come out.

On Friday October 28, I’ll be rocking at Roe Nightclub… also downtown San Fran.  I love playing new spots I’ve never done before… so Friday should be really fun.

Saturday, I’ll be in Portland celebrating Halloween at the legendary Beauty Bar.

Lots more exciting stuff coming in the next two weeks, so stay tuned!

Playhouse Hollywood is one of my favorite venues in the country… always an amazing time.  And I’m excited to be back this Saturday October 1, to begin a new monthly residency there for the winter.

This is a great time to show you a video recap (look below) from my first time at Playhouse during the summer… it’s definitely a visual spectacle.  Shout out to my friend Ramses for the awesome cinematography.

If you’re in Los Angeles or Southern California, I hope to see you there this winter.

Just finished the new mixtape for the new season of HBO’s “How To Make It In America.”  One of the best shows on television right now, starring Bryan Greenberg, Kid Cudi and several other talented people.

Definitely a fun experience putting the tape together for them… shout out to Broke Mogul, HBO and Decon for making it happen.

Music on the tape includes Avicii, Little Dragon, Summer Camp, Theophilus London and more.  You can download/stream it on the HTMIIA Facebook page by clicking here.

Fashion Week is over here in NYC… and it was intense.  From the amazing Fashion Night Out event at Karen Millen (click here to see the 4AM recap video) to the release of Stylecaster’s Sounds From The Front Row 4 (click here to download), it was a busy and insane week.

Speaking of the front row, guess who was seated there at my final NYFW event?  I think the photo above should win an award for “best photo bomb,” even though I was actually there deejaying.

I was asked to provide the music for the Sherri Hill Fashion Show which featured the debut runway appearance of the next-big-Kardashian… Kendall Jenner.  And front row appearances from Kourtney and Kim, among others.  Even Donald Trump was in attendance (and I saw him nod his head to the music.  Only once… but still… lol).

You can read what Perez Hilton had to say about this by clicking here, and you can click here to watch Radar’s video of the event.

I’m really looking forward to the next FW this Spring.  Stay tuned!

It’s Fashion Week once again in NYC… fall seems to be here, everyone is back from their summer hideaways, and the city has a renewed energy.  Lots going on, of course, so let’s get right to it.

On Thursday, for Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, I’ll be at Karen Millen in Soho playing all your favorite cool, chill, obscure and awesome songs.  If you’re out and about shopping, please come and say hello.  Afterwards, we will be afterpartying a few blocks away at XIX.

Friday, I’ll be the special guest deejay for Thrashin’ Fashion featuring a performance from MIA’s protege, Rye Rye.  This takes place at Stone Rose at Columbus Circle.  Afterwards, I’ll be at Griffin from midnight until the lights come on.

Saturday, I’ll be at one of the most talked-about venues in NYC… The Darby Downstairs. And next Wednesday, I’ll be deejaying the fashion show for Sherri Hill, with some very special guests.

In addition, every Fashion Week, I get together with my good friends at Stylecaster and we release what’s quickly becoming known as the soundtrack to fashion week: “Sounds From The Front Row.”

This season is our 4th edition… and it’s my favorite one so far.  New music and remixes from Chromeo, Holy Ghost, Toro Y Moi, Foster The People, The Rapture, Silver Medallion, Hercules And Love Affair and more.

You can download it at Stylecaster or on my music page by clicking here.

Speaking of Stylecaster, check my new interview feature with them here.

Lastly, if you missed Terry Urban and myself in the recent ad for Microsoft Bing… and it seems to be on tv every 5 min… lol… click here to check it out.

Have a great week!

I’m excited to be deejaying at Karen Millen for Vogue’s Fashion Night Out this Thursday!  If you’re out and about enjoying #FNOnyc, please come thru to their Soho / Prince Street location and say hello.  This year is actually Karen Millen’s 30th Anniversary so it should be an amazing time.

I’ve actually been planning a very special set for the event… so if you’re a fan of my Stylecaster / Sounds From The Front Row mixes, you’ll definitely love this event.

Hope to see you there… more info at www.karenmillen.com!

Hello all…

Lots going on over here, as usual… this time with more of a tech/social theme…

This seems to be the month of TV for me… what a blessing. If you didn’t catch the new Adidas spot that we produced running on TV every second (click here to watch and listen to it), hopefully you caught a glimpse of me during the VMA’s for Microsoft Bing’s new campaign.

Kudos to Bing for being so forward thinking and recognizing how social media and powers of search can truly impact a deejay’s lifestyle and culture. If you missed the ad last night, it’s essentially a great montage of myself and my dj partner Terry Urban discussing everything from Brooklyn and pizza to creating deejay playlists using the power of Bing.

What’s cool is… the ad initially started out with the Bing crew following us around to make a cool web piece… and it ended up becoming a full-fledged TV spot as well. You can click on the screenshot above or click here to see the video in it’s entirety.

The ad also provided the first beta look to our new music website… Mixstream. Click here to read more about it.

First Adidas and now Bing… I am now one step closer to my goal of selling Sham Wows on tv latenight… lol.

If you saw the Bing spot over the weekend, you saw our new business venture at the end of the video.  The website is called Mixstream and it’s a mixtape lover’s dream.

In this day and age of a million mixtapes, horrible music and spammy websites, there needed to be a breakthrough.  And that’s what Mixstream is.  It will hopefully be to mixtapes what Apple is to computers and what Target is to mass-market retailers.  A clean-looking, easy to use, and extremely well-curated site to discover new mixtapes.

Check it out by clicking here.

It’s in beta right now… but keep checking back as the site evolves into the next level of everything right about mixtape culture.

This idea was brought to you by Terry Urban, The Corner Club and, of course, me.

Says Hypebeast:

New from adidas Originals comes this exciting and well-executed advertisement featuring everything from skate parks to low-riders and even girls with glow-in-the-dark lipstick. Clearly aimed at a hip-hop market, the video sees the likes of Big Sean and Snoop Dogg, among others, relaxing and performing while rocking their favorite adidas shoes. Set over a Mick Boogie beat, the short clip is definitely worth checking out for fans of the brand.

Says Mick:

This is super exciting and a next level evolution for my career, as well as the start of some wonderful things with adidas.  Special thanks to them for being such a progressive and exciting company to work with.  Shout out to my production partners 6th Sense and Frequency… some of the best musicians in the game.  Stay tuned for many more exciting things!

Sometimes life as a deejay is amazing.  Sometimes life as a deejay is repetitive and monotonous, like any career.  Last night fell into the first category.  I got a call from my 4AM homie Jus Ske like “stop what you are doing and meet me at The Darby.”  I finished up what I was working on and headed over there… and what a night.

We ended up deejaying the top-secret afterparty for Jay-Z and Kanye’s exclusive “Watch The Throne” VIP listening event and it was amazing.  A who’s who of pop culture in 2011 was in this room… Jay, Kanye, Nas, A-Trak, Khaled, 88-Keys and more.  And everyone was partying to the soundtrack we provided.  The best thing about playing for a room of music insiders is you can just play from the heart, and not worry about throwing in silly top-40 girl anthems.  And that’s exactly what we did.

Jus started off with a great set of Jay-Z rarities and Jay/Nas collabos (“Success!”) and Jay was sitting in the corner bobbing his head, rapping with all the songs.  The highlight for me was when he played Biggie’s “Realms Of Junior Mafia” and Jay went nuts.

Then it was my turn… as I got on, Kanye jumped up on a couch and took control of the room so I intro’d with “Dark Fantasy” and so we began.  After running thru my favorite Kanye hits and album tracks… (my favorite: “Thru The Wire” – his favorite: “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”) it was time for the big moment: “Otis.”  I swear, we must have stopped and restarted that song about 5 times and Jay and Kanye enjoyed the crowd mouthing every word to their new classic.

After that, I was able to dig a little deeper, playing some remixes from my Viva La Hova project, some old Kanye/Jay blends I had in the stash (Jay’s face when I mixed “Heart Of The City” over “We Major” was priceless), and even some live Jay-Z “Unplugged” audio.

The personal highlight for me was when I played “Big Brother” and Kanye basically rapped the entire thing with Jay right there.  Seemed like a perfect way to end a night celebrating a momentous album from the two most talented people in hip-hop right now.

All in all, an amazing night.  Check out what Page 6 had to say here and make sure you cop “Watch The Throne” when it drops on August 8th!

It’s always great to be recognized by my peers in the music world… but it’s even more special when the business world takes note.  As a big proponent of business relationships, dating back to my internships in grad school, I was honored to make an appearance in a recent issue of Crain’s New York.

For those who do not know, Crain’s is the Billboard of the business world.  A who’s who of corporate America read every issue.  Kudos to them for recognizing the impact of the deejay in today’s business landscape.

Shout out to Adam Alpert, Jus-Ske, DJ Price and Rich Medina.

Read the article here.

A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups of all time… in any genre of music.  After seeing Michael Rapaport’s amazing documentary on the group (click here), I felt inspired to put together a special Tribe mix and this is the end result.

This is NOT a greatest hits mix.  This mix is for the true Tribe fans only… the die-hards who know every lyric and remember every interlude.

I thought it would be cool to basically create the “lost” Tribe album… with all the rare songs, demos, limited-edition remixes, and collaborations you may have missed over the years.  I hope when you enjoy this as much as I do, and hear some things you have never heard before.

Special thank you to UNDRCRWN for the amazing artwork. Long live A Tribe Called Quest!

You can download it here.

And remember, stay tuned for Mixstream.com.

This weekend, I’m headed back to California for a couple of really cool events.  On Thursday… I’ll be among the epicenter of Hollywood and media at the world famous San Diego Comic-Con.   I’ll be deejaying at the Kick Off event at Sway Lounge… presented by Complex, MacAllan Scotch and more.  Shout out to Umberto!

Saturday, I’ll be in LA to deejay at one of my favorite clubs in the country… Playhouse.  Insane energy all night long.  A deejay’s dream.

And then Sunday… I’ll be a guest at the famous Do-Over party… LA’s ultimate Sunday afternoon event for real music lovers.  If you loved my Summertime mixes, you’ll love this.

See you in Cali!

Summertime is here once again. The weather is hot.  And girls are dressing less (lol).  What a perfect time to release part 2 of the definitive summertime soundtrack: Jazzy Jeff & Mick Boogie: Summertime 2!

The first volume from last summer has been downloaded and streamed over 500K times and this new one promises to reach even more people! Laid-back, beach-friendly, top-down, barbeque-rific music from De La Soul, Stevie Wonder, The Fresh Prince (of course!), The Turtles, Slum Village, The Pharcyde, Q-Tip, Slick Rick, The Isley Brothers and more.

We hope you love this project as much as we enjoyed making it!

You can download this project (and catch a sneak preview of our new partner MixStream) by clicking here.

I just got back the other day from a trip to Tokyo.  It was so amazing… more than likely, it’s my favorite city on Earth besides Brooklyn.  Been there 3 times… and every time is better than the last.

Along with my friend Jus-Ske, I was opening for Fat Boy Slim at the uber-huge Tokyo Big Beach Festival.

Thousands of kids… who LOVE music.  Truly amazing.  I recorded some of my set and will put it up on the site for you guys to download!

Check some of the pics above.  The flier is after the jump, as well.

Shout out to the homie Sal at 71Eight and Feria Nightclub for bringing me over there.  Can’t wait to go back!

Hosted by actor Bryan Greenberg (from HBO’s “How To Make It In America”) and attended by Emmanuelle Chiriqui, Kid Cudi, Gina Gershon and more… the event at Le Cirque was an outstanding success.  Pics by Mel D. Cole.  Kudos to Brandsway Creative for putting on a great event for a good cause.

The following weekend, I’ll be in Colorado Springs doing an event for the good people of Red Bull on Friday May 6 and then heading to LA on Saturday May 7 to make my debut appearance at Playhouse.

Definitely looking forward to this… as a who’s who of the dj industry have graced the turntables at Playhouse.  Should be an awesome night!

SXSW was pretty amazing.  Kudos to Red Bull for putting on such an amazing 3Style event.  I really think they should handle music programming for the entire world.  Between the recent parties, Sound Clashes, and now SXSW… it’s been amazing.

We had on one stage so many amazing deejays and acts… I was sincerely humbled to be considered among Jazzy Jeff, Q-Bert, De La Soul, Z-Trip, LL Cool J and more.

The pic above is kinda cool… a shot from the crowd of over 11,000 people while I was on stage.  Insanity.  Check out more pics from Redbull’s website here.

Vegas was pretty amazing… Red Bull put on one of the most ambitious events I have ever been a part of: Soundclash. Cee-Lo versus The Ting Tings.

I wanted to share these pictures of the event with you guys. I was deejaying from a 40 foot platform in the middle of the crowd… with 2 dualing stages on my side. It was simply put: awesome.

Shout out to La La who hosted the event, while I deejayed. Check out more pics by clicking here.

I’m excited about the recent press from BlackBook Magazine and In Touch.  The BlackBook piece is a short interview in their “Industry Insiders” column (with a more in-depth web feature to follow soon).

The In Touch piece is another mention from the star-studded 2 Kings Dinner I recently deejayed.   Shout out to Nadeska and Meredith.
